Outagamie County Fair - Seymour, WI

Even though this weekend was a hot one, it couldn't keep us from heading out and enjoying two awesome shows. We enjoyed the afternoon by grilling out, having a few cold beverages, trying (unsuccessfully) to stay cool, and just plain had a good time at the BoDiva Headquarters prior to heading over to the fair. We arrived at the fairgrounds and thankfully found the gates covered in shade and settled in for a few hours with a few good friends and more cold beverages. There wasn't much of a soundcheck, we recognized a bit of Still the Night in the mix, but that was about it. Before we knew it, the gates opened, we took our spots up front, and soon enough the guys were coming out looking fine as ever and ready to rock despite the heat.

Setlist:

2. Good Work w/Batman - Sam joined us in singing the Batman part. Bukka sounded great back there on his keyboard, in fact, the entire night Bukka sounded awesome!
3. Idaho - Starin' at the world!
4. 617 - Surprised to hear this one thrown in there, loved it though! Sam dedicated it to the Pharaohs and Kevin had pieces of drum sticks flying all over the place.
5. Angels
6. Texas Ride Song - Awesome Eric solo, some fun 4 up front shots and the heat didn't stop anyone from jumping along! Sam commented after the song "My butt's a little sweaty" and then said "it could rain right about now" before going into....
7. True Devotion
8. Makes U - Kurt introduced it saying "this one is about.... I don't know.... being happy" It was all good, we were happy, hot, but happy. :) Sam threw in his usual "Bellissima!", Eric could be seen singing along with Kurt's "everywhere I go...." part and Bukka's accordion sounded phenomenal.
9. Still the Night w/Wanna Be Sedated - Sam introduced this song by talking about how they've been coming up here for about 20 years to play, and that he thought he was probably about 10 when they first came up here. And went on to say that when Kurt starts this next song, you should know what to do, and if you don't, you'll catch on real fast.
10. Stay On - I know of one person near by loving this one like no other!
11. Runaway
12. Fadeaway w/Bed's Too Big - Wow.....I've heard some great Fadeaways in the past year, but this one might just top them all. Kurt and Eric were so into it I think the place could have gone up in smoke and neither one would have noticed!
13. Naked w/Rickshaw Riding - again, Kurt made our night by gesturing right to us when we sang the "hold you" echo. :)
